Run with purpose. Create the first advantage.

Turn every regain into an organised attack before the defence is set.

What we teach

  • Secure the ball and look ahead immediately
  • Sprint wide lanes and run the rim with purpose
  • Advance by pass or dribble without losing control
  • Flow into offence when the early advantage is not available

Play with pace to create an advantage

Introduce playing fast through simple space, movement and obvious advantage.

What we teach

  • Run into open space and look ahead
  • Attack the basket when the path is clear
  • Pass to a teammate in a better position
  • Use 1v1, 2v1 and 3v3 rather than memorised patterns

Sprint back. Protect the basket. Get matched.

Respond immediately when possession changes and remove the opponent’s easiest scoring options.

What we teach

  • Sprint below the ball on the change of possession
  • Protect the basket and stop the ball
  • Find the next most dangerous player
  • Communicate match-ups and finish in team defence
